Job summary

Blue Origin seeks a Systems Engineer for the Lunar Cross Program Integration team, focusing on BE-7 propulsion hardware across lunar landers. You will shape technical content, drive issue resolution, and coordinate with NASA and cross-functional teams to ensure design and construction standards are met.

This role emphasizes leadership, risk management, and ensuring safe, reliable propulsion integration. You will define SOW content, oversee integration forums, and manage TPMs and delivery dates

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical field.
• 10+ years experience integrating complex hardware across space vehicles, esp. propulsion.
• Experience in spacecraft development and testing.
• Ability to coordinate across disciplines to support ICDs and range product closure.
• Strong leadership to lead integration meetings and drive progress.
• Ability to build trust and foster inclusive relationships.
• Knowledge of performance parameters and risk management for propulsion systems.
• Ability to evaluate engine analyses against requirements.
• Proven track record managing schedules and external partnerships (e.g., NASA).
• Experience coordinating with internal/external teams to meet standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure BE-7 hardware is integrated across lunar landers.
• Define technical content for BE-7 Statements of Work (SOW).
• Own integration forums and escalate issues to closure.
• Drive top issues to closure with bias for action; reflect Engines top issues in program top issues.
• Own program-level Engines risks and elevate decisions to leadership as needed.
• Manage Engines TPMs and requirements with the Engines team.
• Coordinate with SDC and NASA on V&V approaches.
• Manage engine delivery dates and the IMS with PPC.
• Maintain NASA liaison for integration activities.
• Ensure design and construction standards across teams.
