Blue Origin is seeking a Mission Assurance Director to lead safety and mission assurance for the Human Landing System program within Lunar Permanence. You will guide independent assurance across design, qualification, integration, and crewed operations, reporting to the Vice President of Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance.

You will coordinate with engineering, system safety, reliability, quality, and EHS, and interface directly with NASA to ensure compliant, safe missions and goals are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field required.
• 15+ years of experience in mission assurance, quality, reliability, or product integrity for complex hardware.
• Human spaceflight or launch vehicle certification experience, including familiarity with human rating requirements.
• Strong proficiency with safety and mission assurance processes, analyses, and tools.
• Technical leadership and change-management experience with influence over workforce culture.

Responsabilités

• Serve as mission assurance authority for the Human Landing System program across the lifecycle.
• Define and monitor the mission assurance program, specs, and processes for safety and mission success.
• Coordinate SQMA efforts across a matrix of safety, reliability, and quality engineers.
• Provide inputs to planning to address safety objectives at each gate.
• Represent Mission Assurance in reviews and with NASA.
