Job summary

Blue Origin LLC in New York, Town of Florida, is seeking an experienced aerospace engineer to join the Lunar Permanence team. You will direct integration tasks for the Mission ICD for Lunar vehicles, coordinate with the New Glenn team, and help define range safety and day-of-launch activities.

The ideal candidate has a BS in a relevant field, launch-site experience, and strong collaboration and communication skills to work across engineering disciplines in a fast-paced, safety-focused

Qualifications

• B.S. or equivalent in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or CS
• Experience working at a launch site processing either with launch vehicle or spacecraft/satellite payloads
• Ability to work collaboratively across engineering fields to support ICD and Range product closure
• Excellent verbal, written, and graphical communication skills and organizational abilities

Responsibilities

• Direct ICD integration tasks for Lunar vehicles and coordinate with the New Glenn Launch Vehicle team
• Direct customization and execution of Range Safety protocols for Lunar vehicles with USSF Delta 45 collaboration
• Collaborate with the New Glenn payload integration team to ensure transport, integration, and deployment of Lunar vehicles
• Assist the Lunar Launch Integration Lead with encapsulation, launch processing, and Day of Launch tasks
