Amentum seeks a Structures and Mechanisms Engineer to support the GFP/landed hardware readiness under the JETSII contract. You will lead risk reviews, perform independent FE analyses, and coordinate with NASA teams and commercial providers to ensure structural readiness for lunar lander hardware.

• Typically requires a bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5–10 years of related experience.
• License and certification may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform risk based structural insight reviews of provider deliverables such as design data books, stress analyses, verification plans, hazard reports, and test results.
• Trace requirements between HLS structural requirements and verification events; identify gaps, inconsistencies, or risks.
• Review provider compliance with NASA hardware standards and interpretation across structures.
• Assess qualification and acceptance test plans, test reports, and structural verification data for human-rated lunar lander hardware.
• Engage with providers through Structures & Mechanisms Insight Forums and support milestone readiness evaluations.
