Job summary

Freight Breakers is seeking motivated team members in Romeoville to assist with unloading and loading boxes from trailers. This is a production-based role with commission-based earnings, plus hourly pay when not on a truck. You will move pallets, keep a clean work area, and follow safety and attendance policies.

• Can be loading/unloading trucks; pay varies by truck; while not on trucks, you still get paid for time at work.

Overview: Our material handlers primarily assist with unloading and loading boxes from trailers. This is a production-based position.

Commission based plus hr while not on a truck

Responsibilities

• Move pallets to/from staging area.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow receiving/shipping policies and procedures.
• Follow safety guidelines and protocols.
• Follow attendance policies and call-off procedures.
• Can be loading / unloading trucks, each truck is based on different pay rate, while not on trucks still get paid awhile being at work

Requirements

• Must be 18 or older
• Reliable transportation
• Must have steel toe shoes
• Must be present and on time for all scheduled shifts
• Must be able to lift and carry 50-100LBS
• Must be able to work consistently for long periods of time
• Must be able to perform at or above production standards (after training)
• Must be able to work overtime when needed.
