Job summary

HPM Building Supply in Hilo, Hawaii is hiring a full-time Lumberyard Specialist to ensure customers get the materials they need. You will be first to respond to orders and set the tone for the customer experience in our outdoor warehouse.

Knowledge of building materials helps; basic computer skills are required. Forklift certification is a plus, and you must be able to lift 50 lbs, work in varying weather, and join a 100% employee-owned team dedicated to service and growth.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of building materials and lumber is desired.
• Basic computer skills.
• Forklift certification or ability to be forklift certified.
• Previous customer service and cash-handling experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to work in our outdoor warehouse in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Lumberyard Specialist is the first to respond when an order is placed and sets the tone for our customers' experience with us.
• Help customers locate materials and ensure they get the right products from the outdoor warehouse.
