Job summary

HPM Building Supply in Hilo, Hawaii is seeking a full-time Lumberyard Specialist to ensure customers get the materials they need and to set the tone for the customer experience. The role is the first to respond when an order is placed, in an outdoor warehouse environment, with lifting requirements and forklift certification preferred.

Compensation includes an hourly pay range of $18.50 to $22.10, along with comprehensive benefits and employee ownership through the company’s ESOP program.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of building materials and lumber is desired.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Forklift certification or ability to be forklift certified.
• Previous customer service and cash-handling experience is preferred.
• Ability to work in an outdoor warehouse in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs with or without accommodation.

The Lumberyard Specialist is the first to respond when an order is placed and sets the tone for our customers’ experience with us. Qualifications
