Job summary

84 Lumber Company is seeking a full-time Truck Driver to deliver lumber and building materials to customer sites. You will operate a forklift, maintain a clean yard, and communicate any delays to management. A valid state driver's license and safe driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public, understand highway signs, and complete reports.
• Be physically qualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle.
• Provide annual Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) as required by FMCSA.
• Possess a valid CDL with appropriate endorsements when required.
• Complete or hold a valid road test certificate.
• Have a valid Medical Exam certificate or card if required by the truck/hauler.

Responsibilities

• Deliver material to customer job sites and unload freight.
• Operate forklift as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized lumber yard and warehouse.
• Communicate delays or discrepancies to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
