Job summary

84 Lumber is seeking a dedicated Truck Driver for full-time work delivering materials to customer job sites, operating a forklift, and maintaining the lumber yard and warehouse. A valid state-issued driver's license and a safe driving record are required.

Applicants must be at least 21 years old, read and speak English proficiently, and meet FMCSA requirements including an annual MVR review, road-test certification, and any applicable CDL/MedicalExam prerequisites.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records.
• Safely operate the assigned commercial motor vehicle.
• Provide (on an annual basis) a true and correct copy of your Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and a list of violations or the certificate as required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act.
• Be physically qualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle in accordance with the requirements of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act
• Not be disqualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle under the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act.
• Complete or have completed a driver's road test and has been issued a valid and current certificate of driver's road test, or its equivalent, in accordance with the requirements of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act.
• Depending on the truck and/or hauler, you may be required to have a commercial motor vehicle license
• Depending on the truck and/or hauler, you may be required to have a valid and current Medical Exam certificate or card.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Responsibilities
