Job summary

84 Lumber is seeking a full-time Truck Driver to deliver materials to customer job sites, operate a forklift, and maintain the lumber yard and warehouse. A valid state-issued driver’s license and clean driving record are required.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, safety compliance, and clear communication with management. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, health/dental/vision coverage, holiday pay, FSA, profit sharing, and a 401(k) with employer

Qualifications

• Read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records.
• Safely operate the assigned commercial motor vehicle.
• Provide a true and correct copy of your Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) annually and a list of violations as required by FMCSA.
• Be physically qualified to drive a CMV per FMCSA requirements.
• Not be disqualified to drive a CMV under FMCSA.
• Have completed a driver’s road test with a valid certificate.
• May be required to have a CMV license depending on truck/hauler.
• May be required to have a valid Medical Exam certificate or card.

Responsibilities

• Building loads for delivery and unloading freight including lumber and building supplies.
• Forklift training, certification, and operation.
• Maintaining a safe, clean and well-organized lumber yard and warehouse.
• Communicating delays or discrepancies with management.
