Job summary

Gillman Home Center is hiring a Lumber Yard Associate to deliver excellent customer service and support yard operations. This full-time role involves assisting customers, loading materials, operating equipment, and maintaining a safe outdoor workspace.

You must be able to lift up to 80 lbs, work day/evening/weekend shifts, have a High School diploma or GED, and 1-2 years of customer service. Forklift experience preferred and valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must have customer service experience or be willing to learn.
• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to customers and assist loading/unloading lumber and materials.
• Operate trucks/equipment and deliver materials to homes or job sites.
• Maintain safe working environment and report safety concerns to management.
• Assist in inventory, cycle counts, and tent setup/teardown for rentals.
• Perform other yard tasks as needed and maintain yard cleanliness.
