Job summary

AREA TEMPS, INC. is looking for Yard Receiving Associates to maintain accurate inventory of lumber and building materials in the yard. You will count products, verify quantities, sizes, grades, and locations, and ensure items are ready for customer orders.

Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. You will organize and label yard inventory, assist with receiving and stocking, coordinate with Yard and Sales teams, and follow all safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular physical inventory counts of lumber and building materials
• Verify quantities, sizes, grades, and product locations
• Identify and report inventory discrepancies, damaged materials, and shortages
• Maintain accurate inventory records in the company system
• Help organize and label yard inventory for easy identification
• Assist with receiving, stocking, and relocating materials as needed
• Work with Yard and Sales personnel to locate products and verify availability
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized yard
• Follow all company safety procedures and equipment requirements
