Job summary

PARR is hiring a Lumber Yard Associate to load customer vehicles with building materials and help maintain the yard in a safe, organized state. You will read picking tickets, inspect deliveries, stock inventory, and assist customers with product knowledge.

The role includes operating a forklift, following safety protocols, and supporting inventory procedures in all weather at our Vancouver, WA yard. English communication is required.

Qualifications

• OSHA forklift certification preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret picking tickets and invoices.
• Strong knowledge of dimension lumber and panel products.
• Ability to read a measuring tape.

Responsibilities

• Safely, accurately load customer vehicles with orders of building materials.
• Complete paperwork per company policy.
• Receive and inspect delivered inventory for accuracy.
• Stock inventory in correct locations and maintain yard cleanliness.
• Operate forklift and keep equipment in good condition.
• Provide product knowledge to customers and answer questions.
