Job summary

Central Network Retail Group LLC’s Millbrook lumber yard seeks a part-time Yard Associate to deliver excellent customer service, unload or load trucks, and assist customers on-site in Millbrook, AL.

You will operate forklifts, stock yard inventory, verify orders, and help with deliveries while keeping equipment safe and the yard organized; a high school diploma is preferred and forklift certification is required.

Qualifications

• Must have forklift certification and some delivery experience.
• Experience dealing with the public, basic math, reading, writing and speaking skills required.
• Knowledge of lumber, building materials, and material handling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist on entry into yard/warehouse.
• Operate forklift to merchandise and stock yard and warehouse.
• Assist truck drivers in delivery of merchandise to homeowners and job sites.
• Load materials into customers’ vehicles or delivery trucks per POS records.
• Maintain yard/warehouse in clean and orderly condition.
