Job summary

Builders FirstSource in Texas is hiring a Lumber Selector/Material Handler to pick and move lumber and supplies in our operations. You will read pick lists, move materials from receiving to saw areas, and assemble customer orders for packing and shipping.

Qualifications

• Reads pick list to determine items to be moved or gathered.
• Conveys materials from receiving/production areas to saw or to other designated areas.
• Sorts and places materials into designated area according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials and distributes items to production workers or assembly line.
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.
