Job summary

Weyerhaeuser is seeking an Industrial Forklift Operator at our Lumber facility in Grifton, NC. You will move green lumber, stack on kiln carts, and support drying and planing processes with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency.

The role requires operating large forklifts, basic math, and hand–eye coordination, with opportunities for growth, comprehensive benefits, and a 12-hour rotating shift schedule including weekends and overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of one year of experience operating a large forklift.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to follow policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate large forklift to move packs of green lumber and stack on kiln carts.
• Operate and maintain CDK kilns and perform basic maintenance and cleaning.
• Input requisitions into SAP and manage lumber rotation per QC guidelines.
