Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous supervisory or lead experience in lumber/manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read production reports, quality specs, and safety requirements.
• Strong frontline leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to coach employees and hold team accountable.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day operation of an assigned manufacturing line.
• Direct employees toward established production goals and priorities.
• Conduct shift meetings and communicate expectations, priorities, and operational updates.
• Monitor throughput, downtime, waste, and line efficiency.
• Identify bottlenecks and take corrective action within scope of the role.
• Communicate significant operational concerns to plant management.
