Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• No minimum experience required; manufacturing or lumber experience is preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic math preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Move and secure lumber products and materials following instructions.
• Stack finished products according to bundle sizes or customer requirements.
• Label material by type, size, and count.
• Apply tags to material before or after treating/production.
• Use staple gun and troubleshoot equipment.
• Band, bundle, and secure material including corner protectors and loading sticks.
• Follow stacking procedures per policy and customer requirements.
• Ensure correct quantities and material are strapped and labeled before leaving area.
• Maintain inventory of tags and report discrepancies to supervisor.
• Record production on production sheets.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Assist with other areas by moving material and loading/unloading carts.
• Participate in safety, CI, and other programs/meetings.
• Perform other duties as required.
