Job summary

Mach10 Solutions in Monroe, OR is seeking a Green Chain Puller to join a fast-paced lumber facility. You will manually manage lumber flow, sorting and stacking boards to meet quality standards while maintaining safety and efficiency on a high-speed line.

Ideal candidates are physically fit, safety-conscious, and dependable, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods. This role offers full-time hours and steady day shifts in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must be prepared to engage in strenuous physical activity for the duration of your shift.
• Capable of lifting, pulling, and moving lumber pieces weighing as much as 50 lbs on a regular basis
• Physically able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and twist for long durations
• Demonstrate a high level of precision and attention to detail
• Maintain a consistent and punctual attendance record
• Demonstrate the ability to work safely and effectively within a high-speed production setting
• Possess dependable means of travel to the facility

Responsibilities

• Extract lumber pieces from the active green chain conveyor system
• Organize and pile boards based on their dimensions, quality grades, and operational needs
• Perform visual checks on lumber to ensure it meets quality benchmarks
• Identify and discard boards that show signs of damage or flaws
• Maintain a consistent workflow to meet production targets
• Adhere to all established safety protocols to maintain a secure environment for the team
• Keep the workspace tidy and orderly to support efficiency
• Provide support for other mill-related tasks as requested
