Job summary

Northwest Hardwoods, Inc. is seeking a Lumber Handler in Eugene, OR. You will support the manufacturing team by loading and unloading lumber, sorting by size, stacking into carts, and maintaining a clean, safe work area to keep production moving smoothly.

The role requires 18+ years old, ability to work Mon-Thu 1:30pm–12:00am, and OSHA LOTO compliance within 90 days. Prior lumber handling experience is a plus. Join a team focused on quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Available to work Monday - Thursday, 1:30pm - 12:00am.
• Safely and successfully perform Lock Out Tag Out procedure by OSHA within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload lumber trucks.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds when sorting product by size, species, and grade.
• Stack wood neatly into carts or storage bays.
• Keep the warehouse and conveyors clean and clear of debris.
• Participate in job rotations and cross-training.
• Ensure sawmill debris is removed using hand tools and wheel barrows when necessary.
• Work safely, following NWH safety rules and procedures.
