Job summary

ColonialWebb is seeking safety‑mocused Lull Operators to join our New Construction team in the Richmond area. You will safely operate a Lull and related equipment on diverse construction sites, ensuring loads are handled within capacity and procedures are followed.

We value safety, training, and a strong work ethic. A high school diploma is required, with OSHA/DOT knowledge encouraged; VDOT flagger certification eligibility is also noted. Join us for growth and a solid benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating Lull/related equipment preferred.
• Ability to work safely with construction equipment and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely and skillfully operate a Lull all-terrain telescopic forklift and other related construction equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and load capacity limits when lifting, moving, and placing materials.
• Report equipment defects or accidents to supervisor promptly.
• Perform preventive maintenance to keep equipment in good working order.
• Train authorized personnel on proper operation of construction equipment.
• Assess ground conditions and path clearances before operating equipment.
• Understand manuals and load charts to operate equipment correctly.
• Identify necessary equipment repairs by detecting malfunctions.
