Job summary

Skillforce is hiring a Certified Lull Operator for ongoing project work at commercial construction sites in Richmond, VA. As a Certified Lull Operator, you will safely lift, move, and place materials, keep crews supplied, and maintain equipment in good working order.

Pay ranges from $22 to $24 per hour, based on experience, with weekly W-2 payroll. This is a day shift role; shifts run 8 or 10 hours depending on the site.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a valid Lull certification.
  • 2+ years of experience operating a Lull on commercial construction sites; 3+ years is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of jobsite safety protocols and equipment operation.
  • Have your own reliable transportation to and from the jobsite.
  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate Lull extended-reach forklifts to lift, move, and position materials on site.
  • Complete pre-operational checks and equipment inspections before every shift.
  • Follow site safety protocols to keep yourself and crew safe.
  • Assist with loading and unloading materials as deliveries come in.
  • Work with crew to keep tasks moving and on schedule.
  • Keep accurate records of equipment usage and report maintenance needs.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning to keep equipment running efficiently.

Certified Lull Operator Pay:
  • Pay is $22 to $24 per hour, based on experience and skillset.
  • You will be paid weekly on a W-2.
Certified Lull Operator Schedule:
  • This is a day shift role.
  • Shifts run 8 or 10 hours, depending on the site.
Certified Lull Operator Responsibilities:
