Princess Cruises and Holland America Line is seeking a Supervisor, Luggage Handler in Fairbanks for a seasonal full-time role within Guest Services. You will lead a team responsible for collecting, loading, and dispersing luggage to ensure guests’ belongings travel with them on their Alaska journey.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50–75 pounds regularly.
• Three years of luggage handling operations experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with three years of clean driving record.
• Must meet the company’s clean driver eligibility requirements.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States. Holland America-Princess is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-2B status).

Responsibilities

• Supervises and motivates a team of luggage handlers and luggage truck drivers along with the unit’s activities and operations.
• Routinely coordinates and monitors logistics for luggage handling operations.
• Routinely loads and unloads luggage from trucks, motorcoaches, and luggage vans at our various properties and the airport.
• Organize, sort, tally, tag, and label guest luggage daily. Assists with misplaced and damaged luggage.
• Communicates frequently with managers, supervisors, and other team members for updates, requests, or concerns.
• May assist in the events of an emergency in accordance with company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
