Job summary
CPS Inc. is seeking an Industrial Lubricants Technical Service Specialist to provide expert technical support to Sales and customers. The role requires strong knowledge of lubricant formulations and hands-on project management, with minimal travel.
We are looking for a proactive professional who can manage complex testing plans and deliver clear technical documentation. You will plan approval testing, organize data and write technical reports, while maintaining ISO documentation and interfacing
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, chemical or mechanical engineering or related field in Industrial Lubricant formulation.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in the Lubricant industry.
- Experience with Technical Service functions and sales support.
Responsibilities
- Plan approval testing with Sales to meet customer needs.
- Organize data from approval programs into clear reports.
- Prepare written technical literature for customers and Sales.
- Present findings internally and externally as needed.
- Maintain ISO documentation for related activities.
- Interface with CTS, R&D, OEM, Sales and Marketing to understand market trends.
- Travel is 10–15% to customer locations and industry meetings.
