Job summary

Plaza Tire Service is hiring a Lube and Tire Technician. You will perform oil changes, tire and wheel services, alignments and other basic repairs, and you may drive customers, pick up parts, and keep the shop clean and organized.

Qualified applicants have a valid driver's license, are at least 18, and can work five days including Saturdays. Automotive knowledge is preferred, and the job offers room to grow with a well‑established regional chain.

Qualifications

• Possess valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturday's.
• A general understanding of automotive mechanics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports customers to and from their place of residence or business using the company vehicle.
• Picks up parts, supplies, tires from vendors and/or the corporate office using the company vehicle.
• Operates company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner obeying all traffic laws.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections on vehicles following guidelines.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services as directed by the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
• Maintains shop cleanliness and documentation of vehicle condition per inspection.
• Follows safety procedures and reports concerns to supervisors.

Skills
