Job summary

Plaza Tire Service is seeking a Lube and Tire Technician to perform oil changes, tire mounting, wheel balancing, alignments, and basic services. You will also transport customers safely and assist in parts pickup as needed.

You must have a valid driver’s license, be at least 18, and work five days including Saturdays. Basic automotive knowledge is preferred, with opportunities for advancement and a competitive hourly wage between $16 and $19 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must possess valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Willing to work a minimum of five days, including Saturdays.
• A general understanding of automotive mechanics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports customers to and from their residence or business using the company vehicle.
• Picks up parts, supplies, tires, etc. from vendors or the corporate office using the company vehicle.
• Operates the company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner per traffic laws.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections following company/state guidelines.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services as directed by supervisors.
• Maintains shop cleanliness and documents vehicle condition using inspection tools.
