Job summary

Plaza Tire Service is seeking a Lube and Tire Technician to perform oil changes, tire-related services, alignments, and basic maintenance while assisting with parts pickup and shop cleanliness. You will drive customers and carry out essential inspections as part of routine upkeep.

Qualified applicants are at least 18 years old, hold a valid driver's license, and can work five days including Saturdays. Industry basics preferred; competitive pay and benefits available.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturdays.
• General understanding of automotive mechanics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports customers to and from their residence or business using the company vehicle.
• Picks up parts, tires, and supplies from vendors or the corporate office using the company vehicle.
• Operates company vehicle safely and follows traffic laws.
• Performs State Safety and Emission inspections in line with guidelines.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services as directed by the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
• Maintains shop cleanliness and documents vehicle condition via IPC/Repair Order.
