Job summary

Plaza Tire Service is hiring a Lube and Tire Technician to perform oil changes, tire mounting/balancing, rotations, and related services under supervision. You may transport customers, pick up parts, and maintain a clean, safe shop.

Valid driver’s license and basic automotive knowledge are required; flexibility to work weekends is expected. Compensation ranges from $16 to $19 per hour, depending on experience, with benefits including bi-weekly pay, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, holidays,

Qualifications

• Possess valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturdays.
• A general understanding of automotive mechanics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports customers to and from their residence or business using the company vehicle.
• Picks up parts and tires from vendors and the corporate office using the company vehicle.
• Operates the company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner obeying all traffic laws.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services as directed by shop leadership.
• Documents vehicle condition using inspection forms and repair orders.
• Keeps the shop clean and safe, including tires, showroom and work areas.
• Follows all safety procedures and reports concerns to leadership.
