Job summary

Plaza Tire Service is looking for a Lube and Tire Technician in the Little Rock area for a new location currently under construction. The role includes performing oil changes, tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balancing, and basic services under supervision.

You will also transport customers, pick up parts, and keep the shop clean and safe. Compensation is $16–$19 per hour with biweekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package incl. insurance and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturdays.
• A general understanding of automotive mechanics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports customers to and from their residence or business using the company vehicle.
• Picks up parts, supplies, tires, etc. from vendors and/or the corporate office using the company vehicle.
• Operates company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner obeying all traffic laws.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections on vehicles following all guidelines.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services as directed by Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
• Notes any obvious repairs or safety concerns to supervisor.
• Maintains shop cleanliness and safety compliance.
