Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service is seeking a Lube and Tire Technician in Jonesboro, AR. The role involves oil changes, tire and wheel services, alignments, and related tasks in a fast-paced shop environment. You will also transport customers, pick up parts, and help maintain shop cleanliness, following safety guidelines.

Compensation ranges from $16 to $19 per hour, with benefits including paid time off, health insurance, retirement plans, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturdays.
• General understanding of automotive mechanics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports customers to and from their residence or business using the company vehicle.
• Picks up parts, supplies, tires, etc. from vendors and/or the corporate office using the company vehicle.
• Operates company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections following all guidelines.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, balancing, and rotation.
