Job summary

Plaza Tire Service is hiring a Lube and Tire Technician in Jonesboro, AR. You will perform oil changes, tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balancing, and basic service tasks while driving the shop’s safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include transporting customers as needed, collecting parts, and keeping the shop clean. The role requires a valid driver’s license, a willingness to work Saturdays, and general automotive knowledge.

Qualifications

• Possess valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturday's.
• A general understanding of automotive mechanics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports customers to and from their residence or business using the company vehicle.
• Picks up parts, supplies, tires, etc. from vendors and/or the corporate office using the company vehicle.
• Operates company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner obeying all traffic laws.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections on vehicles following all guidelines.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services as directed by the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
• Maintains cleanliness of the shop and surrounding areas for a welcoming appearance.
• Follows safety procedures and reports concerns to supervisors.
