Job summary

Plaza Tire Service is hiring a Lube and Tire Technician in Owensboro, KY. You will perform oil changes, tire and wheel services, alignments, and related tasks, while also driving customers, picking up parts, and keeping the shop clean. Compensation ranges from $16 to $19 per hour, depending on experience.

Benefits include bi-weekly pay, tuition reimbursement up to $3,000, paid vacation and holidays, insurance options, 401(k) with company match, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Five-day work week with Saturdays.
• General understanding of automotive mechanics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports customers to and from their residence or business using the company vehicle.
• Picks up parts, supplies, tires, etc. from vendors and/or the corporate office.
• Operates company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner following traffic laws.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services as directed by the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
• Maintains cleanliness of the shop and service area and follows safety procedures.
