Job summary
Sun Auto Tire & Service is seeking a Lube and Tire Technician in Kentucky to perform oil changes, tire services, alignments, and basic repairs. You may also transport customers, pick up parts, and help maintain shop cleanliness.
Compensation ranges from $16 to $19 per hour based on experience, with benefits including paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and health insurance options.
Qualifications
- Possess valid driver’s license
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturdays
- A general understanding of automotive mechanics preferred
Responsibilities
- Safely transports customers to and from their residence or business using the company vehicle.
- Picks up parts, supplies, tires, etc. from vendors and/or the corporate office using the company vehicle.
- Operates company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner obeying all traffic laws.
- Conducts state safety and emission inspections following all guidelines.
- Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balancing and tire rotation.
- Performs oil changes and other basic services as directed.
- Maintains shop cleanliness and documents vehicle condition as needed.
- Follows all safety procedures and reports concerns to management.
