Job summary

Plaza Tire Service in Owensboro, KY is seeking a Lube and Tire Technician to perform non-technical service repairs including oil changes, tire mounting, balancing, rotations, and simple inspections. You will also drive customers, pick up parts, and help keep the shop clean.

This role offers competitive hourly pay and benefits; candidates must be 18+, have a valid driver's license, and be available five days a week, including Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Minimum age 18.
• Able to work at least five days per week, including Saturdays.
• Basic understanding of automotive mechanics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports customers to and from residence or business using the company vehicle.
• Picks up parts, supplies, tires, etc. from vendors and/or the corporate office using the company vehicle.
• Operates company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner obeying all traffic laws.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections on vehicles in an ethical manner following all company and state guidelines.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services at the direction of the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
• Maintains cleanliness of the shop and surrounding areas.
• Follows all safety procedures and reports concerns to supervisors.
