Job summary

Plaza Tire Service is seeking a Lube and Tire Technician in the Midwest region. The role involves performing oil changes, tire mounting, balancing, rotations, and related services, while also driving customers, picking up parts, and keeping the shop orderly and clean.

Compensation ranges from $16 to $19 per hour based on experience. Benefits include health coverage, paid time off, and a 401(k) with company match, with advancement opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturdays.
• General understanding of automotive mechanics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports customers to and from their residence or business using the company vehicle.
• Picks up parts, supplies, tires, etc. from vendors and/or the corporate office using the company vehicle.
• Operates the company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner following traffic laws.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections per guidelines.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services as directed by the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
