Job summary

Plaza Tire Service in Missouri is seeking a Lube and Tire Technician. You will perform oil changes, tire and wheel services, alignments, and other basic repairs, while also driving customers, picking up parts, and keeping the shop clean.

Compensation is $16-$19 per hour depending on experience, with benefits that include paid vacation and sick time, 6 holidays, tuition reimbursement up to $3,000 annually, medical/dental/vision, life insurance, 401(k) with company match, and advancement

Qualifications

• Possess valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturdays.
• A general understanding of automotive mechanics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports customers to and from their place of residence or business using the company vehicle.
• Picks up parts, supplies, tires, etc. from vendors and/or the corporate office using the company vehicle.
• Operates company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner obeying all traffic laws.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections on vehicles following all company and state guidelines.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services as directed by the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
• Documents vehicle condition using Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order.
• Maintains cleanliness of the shop and surroundings.
• Follows all safety procedures and reports concerns to the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
