Job summary

Poway Honda is seeking a Lube Technician to lubricate vehicles quickly yet thoroughly, coordinating with the Production Foreman. The role supports a fast-paced service environment with opportunities for skill growth and internal advancement.

We offer competitive pay at $20.00 per hour, plus benefits. Ideal candidates have a valid license, can pass pre-employment checks, and bring automotive experience. This is a full-time, on-site position with a strong team culture.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Authorized to work in the USA.
• Ability to pass pre-employment testing (background checks, MVR, drug test).
• 1+ years automotive service experience preferred (Tire/Oil change).
• ASE Certification and/or trade school certification preferred.
• Honda/Acura or multi-brand experience preferred.
• Strong work ethic and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lubricate customers' vehicles thoroughly and safely under guidance from the Production Foreman.
• Inspect battery, lights, tires and refer necessary repairs to the Service Advisor.
• Operate and maintain lubrication equipment and service lifts.
• Lubricate entire car and identify any additional items needing repair.
• Keep the customer’s car clean and equipment in proper working order.
• Follow all safety policies and report accidents to a supervisor.

Job Description

TheLube Technicianwill be responsible for lubricating cars in a quick, yet thorough manner, and for carrying out his responsibilities through coordination with the Production Foreman.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough check of customer’s car (i.e., battery, lights, tires), referring all needed repairs and preventive maintenance to Service Advisor.
• Operate and maintain all lubrication equipment.
• Receive repair order from either the Service Salesman or the Production Foreman and proceed to service lift.
• Lubricate entire car while looking for other items which may need repair.
• Ensure that the customer’s car is kept clean.
• Make certain all equipment is in proper working order, especially the lifts.
• Use adequate, but not excessive, amounts of materials and supplies.
• Must follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor.

Qualifications

Required:

• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
• All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver license.

Preferred:

• 1+ years of Automotive Service Technicianexperience (or Tire/Oil Change).
• ASE Certification and/or trade school certification.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Honda/Acura (or multi) brand experience.
• Strong work ethic and thrive in fast paced environment.
• Ability to follow directions, willingness to learn, and mentor teammates.
• Respect for teammates and positive outlook.

Additional Information

Compensation:$20.00 per hour

Schedule

• Full Time
• Monday through Saturday availability
• Sundays off
