Job summary

Main Street Auto in Poway, CA is hiring a Lube Technician to service customer vehicles, perform fluid and filter changes, and input data into our computer system. You will interact with customers, explain services, and handle payments in a fast-paced garage environment.

We value safety, reliability and teamwork; the role rotates through bays and duties, with an emphasis on quality and courteous service. Prior automotive experience helps, and the position starts with provided training.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write English and complete the Lube Technician training course.
• Previous automotive experience is helpful.
• Must be able to operate shop equipment and handle physical tasks such as reaching, bending and stairs.

Responsibilities

• Provide service to customer vehicles, including fluids and filters, tires and other services; input data into computer.
• Input customer and maintenance information into computer; explain services to customers.
• Provide prompt and courteous customer service; accept payment for services.
• Maintain clean facilities and observe safety rules and regulations.
• Rotate through all Lube Technician duties across bays (Upper/Lower Bay, Greeter, Cashier).
