Job summary

Lithia & Driveway is hiring a Lube Technician at L0223 Mercedes-Benz of Portland in Portland, OR. The role requires performing repair work efficiently per repair orders, diagnosing issues, and road-testing vehicles.

You will maintain tools, keep records, and pursue ASE or manufacturer certifications while ensuring customer vehicles are returned clean and in top condition. We expect at least 1 year of lubrication or express tech experience, a valid driver's license, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 1+ year lube or express tech experience.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose cause of malfunction.
• Complete all work according to safety requirements.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Record time spent repairs using company time clocking procedures.
• Document work performed on repair orders and test procedures/results.
• Maintain organized workspace and tools; replace special tools when needed.
• Ensure vehicles are returned clean and ready.
• Complete required training and pursue manufacturer/ASE certifications.
