Job summary

Tire Discounters in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Lube Technician to perform oil changes, fluid exchanges, and routine maintenance, while supporting tire services such as installation, repair, and balancing. You will help keep drivers safe with a positive, customer-focused approach and a strong safety mindset.

All applicants should be 18 or older, hold a valid driver's license, and be able to lift up to 75 pounds.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to operate basic automotive tools and equipment; mechanical aptitude is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent; automotive experience is helpful but not required.
• Must be 18 or older and authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, system fluid exchanges, and routine maintenance with Tire Discounters' service process.
• Inspect vehicle systems and work with ASE-certified technicians to identify repair recommendations.
• Conduct quality vehicle inspections with professional recommendations beyond the basics.
• Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires with TPMS diagnostics and replacements as needed.
• Utilize advanced shop equipment and maintain a clean, efficient, and customer-ready workspace.
• Complete accurate service records and support a safe, high-quality customer experience.
