Job summary

Tire Discounters in Ohio is seeking a Lube Technician to perform oil changes, fluid exchanges, and routine maintenance, while assisting with tire installation, repair, and balancing. You’ll contribute to safety on the road and gain hands-on training in a busy shop.

We welcome post-secondary automotive students and trade school graduates aiming for a long-term automotive career, with a supportive team, paid weekly schedule, and clear career paths toward shop leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to operate basic automotive tools and equipment.
• Must have valid driver's license.
• Physically able to lift up to 75 pounds and work in a shop.
• High school diploma or equivalent; automotive experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, fluid exchanges, and routine maintenance (battery, filter, wipers).
• Inspect vehicle systems and coordinate with ASE certified Technicians for repairs.
• Conduct quality vehicle inspections with professional recommendations.
• Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires; include TPMS diagnostics/replacements as needed.
• Keep shop equipment and records clean, accurate, and organized.
