Lube Technician - Domestic

Castle Autoplex, McHenry is looking for a Part-Time Lube Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Test systems and components to ensure security and proper operation
• Isolate potential problem systems or components
• Drive vehicles for testing, inspecting, and refilling fluids as needed
• Ensure proper tire pressure, clean and lubricate fittings
• Install new oil drain plugs and filters, communicate oil levels to team members
• Maintain accuracy in diagnosing and repairing vehicles
• Replace worn parts proactively to prevent breakdowns
• Utilize power tools, machine tools, and hand tools for various tasks

Qualifications:

• Deep understanding of automobiles and diagnostic skills
• Effective analytical and communication skills, eager to learn
• Ability to learn new technologies, repair procedures, and specifications
• Experience operating electronic diagnostic equipment
• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• ASE Certification or Technical degree (preferred)
• At least one year of experience in a service department
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Lube Technician: $15-$21 per hour
Compensation depends on performance and experience; pay ranges may vary.
