Job Title: Lube Technician at Hello Mazda of Temecula

Pay Range

This range is provided by Hello Mazda of Temecula. Your actual pay will depend on your skills and experience. Please discuss with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range: $18.00/hr - $20.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Test systems and components to ensure they are secure and functioning properly.
• Identify and isolate potential causes of issues.
• Drive vehicles for testing and inspect/refill fluid levels as needed.
• Check tire pressure, clean and lubricate fittings.
• Install new oil drain plugs and oil filters, and communicate oil levels to team members.
• Maintain accuracy and efficiency in diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
• Preemptively repair or replace worn parts to prevent breakdowns.
• Use power tools, machine tools, and hand tools for various tasks.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of automobiles and quick diagnostic skills.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with a desire to improve.
• Ability to learn new repair procedures and technology.
• Experience operating electronic diagnostic equipment.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ASE Certification or Technical degree preferred.
• At least one year of experience in a service department.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
