Job summary

Bud Clary Auto Group in Washington state is seeking an Automotive Express Technician for our Moses Lake CDJR store. If you enjoy hands-on vehicle maintenance, including oil changes and tire rotations, this fast-paced role rewards accuracy and teamwork.

Join a friendly team, maintain repair records, and ensure quality and safety while adhering to dealership standards. A valid driver’s license is required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance procedures (oil changes, tire rotations) and inspections per dealership and factory standards.
• Conduct lubrication, safety inspections, and related services to maintain vehicle performance.
• Maintain records for regular customers and ensure personalized service.
• Drain and refill crankcase oil, replacing oil and air filters as necessary.
• Inspect vehicle fluid levels and replenish as needed; check tire pressure and adjust as required.
• Apply specified lubricants to moving parts and collaborate with parts department for needed parts.
• Document all work on repair orders accurately and report machinery defects to supervisor.
• Participate in manufacturer technical bulletins to stay updated on latest advancements.
• Maintain cleanliness of customers’ cars and keep the shop organized for efficiency.
• Ensure proper handling and accountability of tools and manuals and follow safety standards.
• Follow OSHA and local regulations regarding hazardous waste disposal and safety.

Pay

• $19.00 - $ 22.00 an hour based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance procedures, including tire rotations, oil change, transmission flushes, and fuel injections, with efficiency and accuracy, adhering to dealership and factory standards.
• Conduction lubrication, safety inspections, and related services to maintain vehicle performance.
• Maintain records on regular customers, ensuring personalized service and satisfaction.
• Drain and refill crankcase oil, replacing oil and air filters as necessary.
• Inspect vehicle fluid levels and replenish as needed!
• Check tire pressure and adjust as required.
• Apply specified lubricants to lubricate moving parts.
• Collaborate with the parts department to obtain necessary parts for repairs.
• Report any machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor.
• Document all work performed on the repair order accurately.
• Participate in manufacturer technical bulletins to ensure knowledge of the latest advancements.
• Maintain cleanliness of customers’ cars and promptly notify the service advisor of any changes in appearance or condition.
• Keep the shop area clean and organized, creating an efficient work environment.
• Ensure proper handling and accountability of dealership-owned tools and manuals, returning them in the same condition as received.
• Understand and comply with federal, state, and local regulations regarding hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know and other applicable standards.
• Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner, prioritizing safety at all times.
• Report any safety issues to management immediately.
