Responsibilities

• Perform oil and filter changes per manufacturer and dealership standards.
• Complete multi-point vehicle inspections and communicate findings to service advisors.
• Check and top off vehicle fluids including transmission, coolant, brake, and windshield washer fluids.
• Inspect tires for wear and proper inflation; rotate tires as needed.
• Replace air filters, cabin filters, wiper blades, and bulbs.
• Conduct battery testing and replacement when necessary.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow safety procedures and environmental regulations.
• Document services performed and report additional repair needs.
• Support other technicians with general shop duties.

The Lube Technician is responsible for performing basic vehicle maintenance services with efficiency, accuracy, and a high level of customer satisfaction. This entry-level role supports the service department by completing routine oil changes, inspections, and light maintenance while maintaining dealership quality standards.

JOB TITLE: Lube Technician

REPORTS TO: Service Manager

LOCATION: Cincinnati, OH

A SHORT LIST OF YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform oil and filter changes in accordance with manufacturer and dealership standards
• Complete multi-point vehicle inspections and communicate findings to service advisors
• Check and top off vehicle fluids including transmission, coolant, brake, and windshield washer fluids
• Inspect tires for wear and proper inflation; rotate tires as needed
• Replace air filters, cabin filters, wiper blades, and bulbs
• Conduct battery testing and replacement when necessary

• Accurately document services performed and report any additional repair needs

• Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicl
