Island Honda in Kahului, Hawaii is seeking a Lube Technician to perform maintenance and light repairs. You will work with repair orders, diagnose issues, and road-test vehicles to ensure quality. The position requires a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

The role offers hourly pay between $18.00 and $22.00 DOE, plus a benefits package. Prior automotive experience and a valid driver's license are required, with opportunities for ASE certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform work per repair orders with efficiency and safety.
• Diagnose malfunctions.
• Road-test vehicles after service.
• Record time spent on repairs using time clock.
• Document work and test results on the repair order.
• Maintain clean, organized workspace daily.
• Ensure vehicles are clean when returned.
• Complete required training and pursue ASE certifications.
• Review technical bulletins as assigned.
• Communicate with dealership staff to meet customer needs.

Dealership: L0249 Island Honda Island Honda Hiring: Lube Technician Pay: $18.00-$22.00 Hourly DOE Schedule: We ask that you have open availability to support dealership operations and customer demand. You will need to be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

What You'll Do

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards
• Diagnose cause of malfunction
• Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work
• Accurately record time spent repairs utilizing company time clocking procedures
• Document work performed on repair order and document test procedures/results
• Use shop supplies and materials in a practical and economical manner
• Maintain an organized and clean workspace, completing a stall cleaning every day
• Ensure that customer's vehicles are returned to them as clean as they were prior to being serviced
• Complete all required training
• Acquire and maintain manufacturer and ASE certifications by completing the necessary and required training
• Participate in and utilize technical training as assigned by management
• Review the technical bulletins and other publications as assigned by management
• Constructively communicate with other dealership personnel as required to satisfy customer needs

The average pay range for this position is $18.00-$22.00 hourly DOE. Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
