Job summary

Spitzer Autoworld in DuBois, PA is seeking a Full-Time Technician to provide high-level customer service while performing multi-point inspections, oil and air filter replacements, and general maintenance on vehicles. You will work within a family-owned, performance-driven team and receive ongoing GM product training through Spitzer University.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Submit to and successfully complete MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug test.
• 6 months of experience or related training equivalent required.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Replace oil and air filters, performs multi-point inspections and check tire pressure.
• Inspect fluid levels in steering gears, power steering reservoirs, transmissions, differentials, rear axle housings and shackles.
• Lubricate moving parts with specified lubricants and add water to radiator and battery.
• Service universal joints, grease fittings, and steering knuckles using hand- or compressed-air powered grease guns.
• Inspect all vehicles for additional repairs.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Other related duties as assigned
