Job summary

Webster Central School District is seeking an LTS Elementary School Teacher for State Road Elementary School, with dates October 26, 2026 through January 4, 2027. Must hold NYS Certification in Early Childhood Education B-2, Childhood Education 1-6, or Nursery-6. Open position posted by the district.

The candidate will join a collaborative grade-level team, implement district curriculum, and support literacy integration while maintaining student records and communicating with families.

Qualifications

• Must have NYS Certification in either Early Childhood Education B-2, Childhood Education 1-6, or Nursery-6.
• Strong ability to collaborate and be an effective member of a grade-level team.
• Knowledge and understanding of child growth and development, effective instructional strategies, classroom management, learning assessment and diagnosis, and research related to learning.

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive instruction in the District approved curriculum.
• Integrates literacy skills and strategies within the academic program, ensuring that all students can access text and communicate understanding through writing.
• Demonstrates a deep and rich knowledge of subject area and the ability to convey it to the students.
• Maintains accurate and timely student records available for teacher, student or parent reference.
