Job summary

Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC in Fontana, CA, is seeking an Operations Supervisor for a mid- to large-sized LTL terminal. You will lead operations, oversee inbound, outbound and P&D, and manage up to 150 employees across multiple shifts to ensure safe, efficient freight movement and KPI achievement.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, extensive supervisory experience, and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent background.
• Minimum of 5 years supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of all aspects of an LTL station preferred.
• Must have good computer skills.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and people-management abilities.
• Customer service focus and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, guide and direct employees and set goals across shifts.
• Accountable for an efficient, safe LTL operation including dock planning.
• Involved in hiring, training and terminations with proper follow-up.
• Enforce company policies, safety rules and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee inbound, outbound and P&D to ensure timely freight movement and KPI attainment.
