Job summary

Central Transport LLC is seeking an Operations Supervisor in Pontiac, MI to oversee inbound terminal operations and lead up to 30 local LTL drivers and dock personnel. The role emphasizes safety, route efficiency, and meeting production schedules in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Oversee inbound operations for your designated terminal dock section.
Manage up to 30 local LTL drivers and dock personnel to meet production schedules.
Oversee loading, forklift traffic, and proper picking/sortation of palletized freight.
Review and revise driver routes to increase efficiencies amidst changing workloads.
Monitor freight in transit and assist drivers with on-road issues.
Ensure KPI goals are met or exceeded while maintaining safety standards.
Maintain a safe work environment compliant with state and federal DOT/OSHA standards.
Support a culture of excellence in product quality for internal and external customers.
